Зэсийн баяжмал хайлуулах, боловсруулах үйлдвэрийн төслийн олон улсын нээлттэй өрсөлдөөнт сонгон шалгаруулалт зарлагдаж, урьдчилсан шалгаруулалтын үе шатанд 7 улсын 13 компани уг төсөлд хөрөнгө оруулж, хамтран ажиллах сонирхлоо илэрхийлсэнээс дараах 4 оролцогч байгууллагууд дараагийн шатанд шалгараад байна:

• NFC (China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.)
• Jiangxi Copper Corporation
• Liantou New Energy Technology Corporation, China ENFI Engineering Corporation, Shanxi Northern Copper Industry Partnership-ийн консорциум

Сонгон шалгаруулалтын II шатанд албан ёсоор мэдэгдэл хүлээн авсан оролцогчид зэсийн баяжмалыг хайлуулах, цэвэршүүлэх үйлдвэрийн бүтээн байгуулалт, бүтээгдэхүүний борлуулалт болон логистикийн талаар дэлгэрэнгүй саналаа 2026 оны 4 сарын 15-ны дотор ирүүлэх үүрэгтэй.

II шатанд шалгарсан хөрөнгө оруулагч нь Засгийн газраас томилогдсон Ажлын хэсэгтэй хэлэлцээ хийх эрхтэй болж, хэлэлцээ амжилттай болсон тохиолдолд Хөрөнгө оруулалтын гэрээ байгуулан төслийг хамтран хэрэгжүүлнэ.

Copper Concentrate Smelting and Processing Plant Project

International Open Competitive Selection Process – Update

An international open competitive selection process has been announced for the copper concentrate smelting and processing plant project.

During the pre-qualification stage, 13 companies from 7 countries expressed their interest in investing in and cooperating on the project. Of these, the following four participants have been shortlisted to proceed to the next stage:

• Glencore International AG (Switzerland)
• NFC (China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.)
• Jiangxi Copper Corporation
• A consortium of Liantou New Energy Technology Corporation, China ENFI Engineering Corporation, and Shanxi Northern Copper Industry Partnership

In the second stage of the selection process, the officially notified participants are required to submit detailed proposals covering the construction of the copper concentrate smelting and refining plant, as well as product sales and logistics, by April 15, 2026.

The investor selected in Stage II will be granted the right to enter into negotiations with the Government-appointed Working Group. Subject to successful negotiations, an Investment Agreement will be concluded, and the project will be jointly implemented.
